Hi, Im Gabrielle, my friends call me Gab!
Iām an acupuncturist, herbalist, functional medicine practitioner, writer, and non linear thinker based in Los Angeles.
As a passionate advocate for body literacy and health equity; I believe all individuals deserve exceptional care.
Much of my clinical experience has been working in multi-disciplinary clinics specializing in gynecological concerns, hormone therapy, autoimmune and endocrine disorders, digestive health, and psycho-emotional disorders.
I was first introduced to East Asian Medicine over a decade ago while studying psychology at university. Instantly, the theory captured my attention. It brought meaning and understanding to the intricate weaving of internal health and external environment. Like all acupuncturist, I spent a rigorous 4 years in a post-graduate clinical program understanding the complexities of Traditional East Asian Medicine diagnosis and treatment. After becoming Board Certified as an Acupuncturist and Herbalist, I went on to study Functional Medicine through continuing education courses, where I learned to apply my traditional medicine knowledge with biomedical diagnosis.
My practice is with great reverence for the Traditional roots and ancestry of East Asian Medicine. With over 20,000 hours of clinical experience, I have found that traditional medicine and biomedicine can be interwoven to help enrich diagnosis and treatment plans. Incorporating Functional and Integrative Medicine into my approach allows me to get a clearer picture in order to treat ailments from varied angles.
I have a gentle approach, but tell it like it is. I like to work alongside my patients, helping them to navigate the complexities of health, and standing by them with whatever comes their way.
