The Process
You deserve health care that sees and supports your whole being. Your experiences are valid, your well-being matters, and you shouldn't have to navigate your health alone.
These are the tools I use to support you.
East Asian Medicine
East Asian Medicine is a comprehensive system of healthcare that uses acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, gua-sha, acupressure and massage, qi gong and meditation, nutritional therapy, and herbal formulas to support your body in coming back to homeostasis.
I practice East Asian Medicine, as a living, breathing model for health. Whether you are dealing with acute or chronic physical or emotional ailments, my goal is to meet you as you are.
In-person care utilizes acupuncture, cupping, and energetic work to move toward your health goals. Much of my work is focused around menstrual health care such as PCOS, fertility, amenorrhea, endometriosis, or painful periods. As the body and the mind are never separate, I often help my patients navigate through complex trauma which shows up in a myriad of ways: digestive concerns, jaw pain, anxiety/depression/grief, headaches, and much more.
Beyond our regular sessions, I provide detailed care plans tailored to your unique needs. These may include lifestyle adjustments, nutritional recommendations, and botanical therapies like chinese herbal medicine. My goal is not to overwhelm you with information, but to be a supportive partner in your health journey.
Access to care is important to me. If my rates are outside your budget, I offer an expanding resource library at sliding-scale rates. Additionally, I host workshops and community acupuncture events around the Los Angeles area to further support your healing process.
Functional Medicine
Functional Medicine is a natural extension of East Asian Medical theory, blending traditional healing practices with modern diagnostic approaches to create a patient-centered framework. It allows us to understand what’s happening in the body both biologically and energetically.
This approach uses comprehensive assessments, advanced laboratory tests, and detailed medical histories to identify and address the root causes of illness—such as gut dysbiosis, inflammation, and hormonal imbalances.
By combining traditional medicine methods, including lifestyle and nutritional guidance, with targeted botanical therapies and functional testing, we can more effectively address chronic conditions like pain, inflammation, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, undiagnosed allergies, and much more.
My approach is unique in that I prefer using Chinese Herbal Medicine over supplements. I like to start slowly, focusing on one or two targeted interventions, rather than overwhelming patients with an extensive list of supplements. I don’t support over-supplementation and instead advocate for getting nutrition primarily from whole foods whenever possible, while also adjusting lifestyle habits to meet each patient where they are. Evidence-based medicine is a cornerstone of my practice, and it guides how I approach treatment. I also value working closely with your healthcare team to ensure comprehensive management of your health conditions.
